Due to the current hay shortage across Victoria, we’re offering Short Cut Oaten Hay as a temporary alternative to our usual New Season Oaten Hay. While this hay has the same nutritional value, the strands are shorter and it contains a higher amount of dust.

Although the hay has been sieved before packaging, we recommend shaking it out before offering it to your pet to help reduce dust. This product is not ideal for vertical hay trays and is best suited for pets who use a litter tray.

Short Cut Oaten Hay is offered at a reduced price, as the longer strands are typically preferred. Despite the shorter cut and increased dust, it still provides the same essential fibre and benefits for your rabbit or guinea pig’s digestive and dental health.
