We, the Rabbit & Bird Doctors, want to do more.

We passionately provide every small herbivore and avian patient with quality, evidence-based, humane veterinary care. But you probably figured that much from our name. 

We are a workplace that faces challenges with a curious mind and embraces different perspectives, and together, we work to drive our area of medicine further. This certainly makes for a richer, more rewarding, and quirkier workplace.

Our people are diverse and inclusive and we pride ourselves in respecting and supporting one another's “whys” in both the workplace and life. Our workplace culture is the most important part of our success and we take a dynamic approach to our teams' needs. 

The caseload is varied, high-paced, and top-end and we hold high expectations for our patients and client care. This isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay! 

Our nurses are highly valued in our clinic, performing most, if not all, practical tasks able to be conducted by appropriately qualified individuals.

We have an ongoing rolling roster that includes our various nursing roles meaning each week is a little different. With the support of a dedicated customer service team, we can focus on what we do best: providing exceptional care to our patients

An interest in Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Rats, and Birds is a must, having previous experience in these species isn’t a deal breaker.
