Full -time - Veterinary Receptionist

Integrity, Patient Advocate, Compassion, Learning, Community.

We, the Rabbit & Bird Doctors, want to do more.

We passionately provide every small herbivore and avian patient with quality, evidence-based, humane veterinary care. But you probably figured that much from our name.

We are a workplace that faces challenges with a curious mind and embraces different perspectives, and together, we work to drive our area of medicine further. This certainly makes for a richer, more rewarding, and quirkier workplace.

Our people are diverse and inclusive and we pride ourselves in respecting and supporting one another's “whys” in both the workplace and life. Our workplace culture is the most important part of our success and we take a dynamic approach to our teams' needs.

The caseload is varied, high-paced, and top-end and we hold high expectations for our patients and client care. This isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay!

Our dedicated customer service superstars truly embody the heart and soul of our clinic. They are the welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face that greets every client who walks through our doors, but more than that, they are the client advocates. We place immense value on our receptionists, through their ability to foster strong relationships with our cherished clientele, expertly manage our daily schedule, and educate clients about the exceptional services that set us apart.

Every day, two dedicated receptionists are on hand to assist, backed by a clinical team member for additional support. As our clinical team expands, we invite you to join us in enhancing and continuing to develop the customer service experience at our clinic, making a positive impact on our clients' journeys.

We are in search of a dedicated individual who is truly people-focused and passionate about making a positive impact. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, keen attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a collaborative mindset, all while thriving in an independent work setting. We want someone who not only embraces change but actively champions it, leading to a remarkable customer care journey and improved patient outcomes. If you are eager for career growth and value both clinical and interpersonal training, we encourage you to join our mission!

Previous experience in the animal care industry with veterinary software is non-negotiable, this role will not lead to any vet nursing positions.
