Are you looking for a veterinary nursing role that's a little different from the ordinary? 

At The Rabbit and Bird Doctors, we provide exceptional care to Victoria's rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and mice. We're passionate about patient welfare, client education, and supporting local rescue organisations. We're searching for a dedicated Qualified Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our exceptional team.

We Value Work Life Balance

This full-time role includes: 

  • 72 hours per fortnight 

  • A 4-day work week (4 x 9-hour shifts) 

  • 1 in 4 Saturday rotation 

  • Regular team social events 

  • On-site coffee caravan for your daily caffeine fix ☕  

About You 

You'll be someone who: 

  • Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology. Is enthusiastic, motivated and proactive.  

    • Enjoys contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.  

    • Holds, or is willing to obtain, VNCA accreditation.  

    • Is passionate about client education and delivering compassionate patient care. 

    • Can work independently while also being a strong team player.  

    • Has a genuine interest in rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and mice. Experience with these species is welcomed but not essential.
